Sunsets and Evening Skies

Glandore is situated just behind Porthloo beach, facing west, and that means that the sun sets directly across the sea behind the twin hills of Samson – often in gloriously unbelievable Technicolour. Since our office overlooks the beach, the vivid light streaming in through the window is an irresistible lure to grab the camera and dash down to try and capture the fleeting ethereal display.

I love the moods and colours of the Isles of Scilly – nowhere truly compares with its beauty….
